It's been just a month or two since we finally went all digital. Still using Technics 1200s with a vinyl interface but now connected to a Macbook running Serato -- the potential seems to have blown through the roof. The colour coded waveform is perhaps the biggest advancement in DJing since the 1200s. What a difference, and what a great visual representation of the music. Well, it's definitely better than most of the shows in the past 6 months. Lots of fresh trance this week although some of it was previewed last week. First half of the show went down much smoother than the second half. More vocal trance than I usually play, but several of these vocal tracks don't overdo it and they still have a rougher electro feel to them so they seem to satisfy my taste.
