This week I totally indulged after the past few weeks having been full of guest DJs and fundrives. We broke a few rules and run a full two-hour uninterrupted mix, entirely my own. There’s a couple glitches, but I think the rest of the mix makes up for them, and those glitches just lend a little authenticity to the whole thing. Live mixing at it’s best!

Last year I did the first Trance Fusion mix. It earned the title as it seemed to cross over between several different sub-genres of trance. It was a favorite, especially among some close friends, and so when I gave this mix a second listen, it seemed to be a great follow up. The acid-breaks bring back memories of the warehouse days, before the parties were forced to become more legit. There’s definitely some progressive psychedelic influence, but in a way that should appeal to hard trance and tech trance fans too.
