My set is a collection of tracks that just don’t seem to go with anything else. You know the ones. They’re great, they just never seem to fit into the set you’re working on. Well, if you collect them for long enough, you can just mash them all into a set of their own, like this!

Caddyshack finishes things off at 180 bpm and somewhere around 300 wpm (wobbles per minute). If you’re asking yourself, what the hell is a wobble per minute… you should just listen to his set. Between Glassball and Caddyshack, you should have it figured out by the time you make it through this week’s podcast. It’s not for the faint of heart

I played Full On psytrance and it’s a good set, but Caddyshack’s set this week is freakin’ mind blowing!

This week I discovered a group named Psy Craft (or Psycraft), which seem to have an awesome blend of full on vocal psytrance. I also played some borderline psychedelic thrash metal by Mystical Complex. Together it made for a pretty diverse range of psychedelic mayhem.

Caddyshack however managed to dig up some of the best trance anthem mashups that I’ve heard in ages, and wove them together into a masterful set. Do NOT miss his set! The music only version is available for free download from his Soundcloud account (for a limited time).

I was really struggling to find a direction for this week’s set. I’m pretty sure I’ve been fighting off a cold and it seems like my head was just scattered. As it turns out, my opening set was going quite well, right up until the last track. All too often I make the decision to play “just one more”, and all too often it’s that last track that just doesn’t quite fit. If I’d listened to that quiet voice in the back of my head, I probably could have anticipated that it just wasn’t quite going to work… but some people are better listeners than others

This week I started out with 38 tracks all competing for a spot in my hour long set. After thinning and thinning, and then thinning some more, I was left with 16 freaking amazing tracks that could be thinned out, no more. This set starts out at a throbbing progressive pace and slowly builds to an all out jaw smashing climax.
