I think the beginning of the Trancendance overnight mix made it into the podcast this week featuring the live Rave Techno set played recently by MUX at Sequential Circus 11.

Did I forget to mention how well I have been sleeping thanks to the white fur pillow? Now I feel that I have so much energy.

So it sounds like I was long overdue getting Steve Krueger back in the studio. My how time flies. I kept looking over his shoulder during this set to see if he had boosted the tempo, because it just didn’t seem possible to bang this hard and still only be hovering around 132bpm. I might have to go record shopping now that I’ve had a peek at his tracklist.

This week was a blast as Peter Allgood dropped by the studio again. I had some flashbacks to the mid-90s during his set. All good Caddyshack laid down some pretty killer builds and then ripped it sideways into dirty breaks and some classic mashups. And me… I just played a little psytrance to get things rolling

Oh… and I forgot to mention, I included part of Robots in Disguise by local Vancouver DJ Glassball. Robots in disguise is a freakin’ killer dubstep mix with transformers samples throughout. Glassball also spins psytrance and will be on the show next week (Jan 29, 2011).

Also upcoming, dj Eric Allen will be on the show Feb 5, 2011. It looks like Trancendance might be a two and a half hour live show from now on

dj Caddyshack Epic Trance Mix

I have no freakin’ idea what he played last week. I’ll just call it a super secret tracklist

I played Full On psytrance and it’s a good set, but Caddyshack’s set this week is freakin’ mind blowing!

This week I discovered a group named Psy Craft (or Psycraft), which seem to have an awesome blend of full on vocal psytrance. I also played some borderline psychedelic thrash metal by Mystical Complex. Together it made for a pretty diverse range of psychedelic mayhem.

Caddyshack however managed to dig up some of the best trance anthem mashups that I’ve heard in ages, and wove them together into a masterful set. Do NOT miss his set! The music only version is available for free download from his Soundcloud account (for a limited time).
