I’m pretty stoked to have Eric Allen on the show this week! I knew there was something about his style that I was drawn to, and as we chatted a bit more about some of his influences and styles, there seemed to be a common theme: high energy stuff that stays interesting. Probably the most fascinating thing was that, with such a similar taste in music, several of the artists he plays aren’t even on my radar! My set is a collection of tracks that just don’t seem to go with anything else. You know the ones. They’re great, they just never seem to fit into the set you’re working on. Well, if you collect them for long enough, you can just mash them all into a set of their own, like this!

Caddyshack finishes things off at 180 bpm and somewhere around 300 wpm (wobbles per minute). If you’re asking yourself, what the hell is a wobble per minute… you should just listen to his set. Between Glassball and Caddyshack, you should have it figured out by the time you make it through this week’s podcast. It’s not for the faint of heart
