Well, the show goes on even if the website doesn’t get updated as often. Trancendance has been on the air now for 9 years! Before that, on a sunny February afternoon back in 1999 (if I remember correctly) there was a little ol’ gathering in Pemberton at the base of Mount Currie. This is the home of the Lil’wat Nation, and it was there that we entered into the Spirit Circle for an epic night of celebration.

There is no question in my mind that anyone who was there will remember being so — you all know who you are.

This past Sunday Caddyshack and I had an exceptionally good show and I couldn’t help but wonder if the Spirit Circle had a little something to do with that.

Here’s this weeks Trancendance podcast. Smiley Mike starts off the night for the first hour and Caddyshack takes the second hour with several tracks and remixes by Blue Amazon. Then in our usual long-weekend fashion we extend the show with a two hour tag-team set.

Thanks to Edward, Andrew and the other people that called in. Edward requested Children by Robert Miles and I just happened to have Tilt’s version of Children and played it – third track into the set.

Our longest show in awhile – Caddyshack starts off the night until Smiley Mike shows up around 11:30. After a half hour set we extend the show for an extra 2hrs playing a non-stop 2 records each tag-team trance set that pushes trance in every possible direction.

Richard suggested suggested this was his favourite Trancendance set. I’ve only just started listening to it but anything that starts off with the ripping floor-crasher ‘Generate the Wave’ by Dave 202 is worth posting. So I dug up the podcast and here it is for all to enjoy.

Caddyshack returns after many weeks off for this week’s extended 3 hour show on BC Day long weekend. Smiley Mike plays an all Platipus set for the first hour. Caddyshack plays the second hour and then we tag team for the final hour – playing two records each.
