Well, it's definitely better than most of the shows in the past 6 months. I've had some good parts of shows but there always seems to be some considerable screw-up that keeps me from posting the mix in the sidebar as a featured podcast.
The first mix is likely the shakiest and as the show goes on it just gets better and better until the last 45 minutes are really solid.
The first half is more deep pulsing layered trance that slowly builds. The ... Read More

Lots of fresh trance this week although some of it was previewed last week. First half of the show went down much smoother than the second half. More vocal trance than I usually play, but several of these vocal tracks don't overdo it and they still have a rougher electro feel to them so they seem to satisfy my taste. Two of the new records that are already standing out to me are the Judge Jules and BK collaboration on Riot Recordings. ... Read More

Sorry I missed last week's show. This week was going to be a remix of three weeks ago but at the 11th hour I started pulling out records and the set seemed to be taking a more classic trance anthem feel. The first mix was a little forced but then things ... Read More

Here's this weeks Trancendance podcast. Smiley Mike starts off the night for the first hour and Caddyshack takes the second hour with several tracks and remixes by Blue Amazon. Then in our usual long-weekend fashion we extend the show with a two hour tag-team set.
Thanks to Edward, Andrew and the other people that called in. Edward requested Children by Robert Miles and I just happened to have Tilt's version of Children and played it - third track into the set.

If you asked me as I was leaving the station on Sunday I would have said this was destined to be a great set. I even had hopes of adding it to the Featured Podcasts (in the sidebar). After a second listen however, the mixing is not as tight as I had hoped. Whatever. I had a blast in the studio this week.
This week's mix is pretty diverse including a few classic trance anthems from Transa, Faster Kill off Paul Oakenfold's A ... Read More

Sorry about the delay in posting this week's podcast. There was a glitch with the podcast server but it's fixed so this week's show is ready for download.
This week Caddyshack and I were going to play a Nukleuz Records tag team set but we've postponed that until next week (Sep 14). In it's place this week's set is filled with tracks off the brilliant intelligent hard trance label WellWicked as well as the complex layered trance of Noom Records.
