This tag team set was three weeks in the making. Before you get too excited – that doesn’t mean we spent three weeks practicing, rather it got posponed for three weeks before we managed to wing it at the last minute. Regardless of how hard I try to keep from growing up it seems inevitable and with that comes substantially less time devoted to mixing records.

After waiting three weeks for the set it took another week (due to a bad cold) to get the podcast posted. My sincere appologies to Andrew who has waited patiently after I promised him to have it up last Monday!

This week’s show is a little different than usual. It’s continuous but not mixed and the tracks come from early rave compilation CDs. These are tracks that influenced me in my early rave days.

John Digweed is not one of my favourite DJs but he is world class. Well known as half of Sasha & Digweed – the DJs behind the highly successful Northern Exposure CDs – John Digweed is a little too melodic for my taste which prefers a little more intensity. I have heard Digweed play once – with Sasha – at a huge party in Victoria at Memorial Arena. However the sound engineer really messed up the sound design so my own experience was less than thrilling.
