Another smashing week with an extended 3hr show! This week my set features remixes of classic trance anthems and trance mash-ups that should send shivers down your spine and leave your whole body tingling! I’ve always liked the heavy remixes and mash-ups, but often they’re on the lighter side. Not this set! At 145bpm it’s an epic PsyTrance set not to be missed! Tell your friends!

Well, the show goes on even if the website doesn’t get updated as often. Trancendance has been on the air now for 9 years! Before that, on a sunny February afternoon back in 1999 (if I remember correctly) there was a little ol’ gathering in Pemberton at the base of Mount Currie. This is the home of the Lil’wat Nation, and it was there that we entered into the Spirit Circle for an epic night of celebration.

There is no question in my mind that anyone who was there will remember being so — you all know who you are.

This past Sunday Caddyshack and I had an exceptionally good show and I couldn’t help but wonder if the Spirit Circle had a little something to do with that.

Here’s this weeks Trancendance podcast. Smiley Mike starts off the night for the first hour and Caddyshack takes the second hour with several tracks and remixes by Blue Amazon. Then in our usual long-weekend fashion we extend the show with a two hour tag-team set.

Thanks to Edward, Andrew and the other people that called in. Edward requested Children by Robert Miles and I just happened to have Tilt’s version of Children and played it – third track into the set.

A good friend of mine asked me to make a CD as a prize for their caravan heading to Burning Man this year. It’s been years since I made anything more polished than a podcast as family life has chipped away at my free time, so a new CD is long overdue.

This is just a first take but it’s a little rough. After a second listen it wasn’t as bad as I first thought, but there’s a few spots where the beats slip. The first block is about 45 minutes (of Smiley Mike) featues some Nukleuz records and after the break there’s another 90 minutes or so featuring some of the same Tidy Trax and Eve records from the May 4 podcast but at a slightly slower pace (still pounding though).

Caddyshack was busy reorganizing his shoes this week.
