My post heading is a bit self-centred this week. It doesn’t really reflect Caddyshack’s set at all, but rather totally focusses on mine. At some point it gets hard to come up with a title that covers everything, especially when Caddyshack plays a set like he did this week: a little bit of everything!

For almost 10 years Trancendance has brought you nearly all subgenres of trance music, continuously mixed for the most part. When we do venture a little outside the trance umbrella, it’s typically in the direction of breaks. This week’s show is all breakbeat! And while Caddyshack has dabbled in the dubstep, this was my first kick. This show is sick. I mean, you really gotta listen to it. It’s just that freakin’ good!

Lots of fresh trance this week although some of it was previewed last week. First half of the show went down much smoother than the second half. More vocal trance than I usually play, but several of these vocal tracks don’t overdo it and they still have a rougher electro feel to them so they seem to satisfy my taste. Two of the new records that are already standing out to me are the Judge Jules and BK collaboration on Riot Recordings. You might recognize BK from some of the Nukleuz tracks I play in the Hard Trance sets. The other is the Peter Luts Remix of Inspiration.
