For almost 10 years Trancendance has brought you nearly all subgenres of trance music, continuously mixed for the most part. When we do venture a little outside the trance umbrella, it’s typically in the direction of breaks. This week’s show is all breakbeat! And while Caddyshack has dabbled in the dubstep, this was my first kick. This show is sick. I mean, you really gotta listen to it. It’s just that freakin’ good!

Caddyshack really steals the show this week! It’s been awhile since he played a Drum and Bass set and it put a huge smile on my face as soon as he dropped the first track. Don’t miss his mix in the second part of the show that seems to slide back and forth between Drum and Bass and Jungle.

I wasn’t sure how my set turned out this week. I switched it up after being in the psychedelic zone for the past few weeks, and to be quite honest, I barely listened to any of the tracks in this week’s set before the show. A lot of the magic is in the tracks themselves this week. Most of my set features hard trance sounds with the twist of having unique breakdowns that include everything from phat almost crunky beats, to the killer bootleg remix by Organ Donors (what is that from?)

This week was a blast! It’s Fundrive week at CiTR which is when we ask our listeners to donate and help support the station. Caddyshack and I scoured our vinyl collection for the oldest, most classic warehouse rave tunes that we could bust out for our fundraising show. CiTR’s music director, Luke Meat, hung around for the show, which was a blast since he shares a passion for oldskool rave tracks (which I only found out recently!)
